Cambodia Visas

For visitors to the Kingdom of Cambodia, visa are available upon arrival at both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap International Airports. For overland crossing from Thailand, visas upon arrivals are obtainable at the international check points, Cham Yeam in Koh Kong, and Poipet in Banteay Meanchey province. Visitors who enter from Vietnam through Ka-Om Samnor (VN: Chao Doc) or Bavet (VN: Moc Bai) will need to have already obtained their visas before their arrival through a Cambodian Embassy or consulate overseas. Tourists can also get an E-Visa through the government official website.

Some nationalities are needed to get visa beforehand at Royal Embassy of Cambodia in their country. Those countries include Algeria, Afghanistan, Arab Saudi, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Sudan.

A passport and visa are needed. Tourists and business travelers may get a Cambodian visa valid for one month at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap International Airports and borders. Both airports need a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months from the expiry date, one recent photo. All domestic and international flights are charged for departure tax.

Cambodian national entering Cambodia on a foreign passport can apply for the Visa K; however, the applicant must submit well-documented evidence such as proof that one of the parents were Cambodian.

A single-entry tourist visa can be extended only once for up to one month. A single-entry business visa can be extended for one month to three months while the multiple-entry visa for six months to one year. For those who stay in Cambodia after visa expiry date, will be subject to fine $5/day.

Cambodian Education System

Education in Cambodia is controlled by the state through the Ministry of Education in a national level and by the Department of Education at the provincial level. The Constitution of Cambodia establishes that the state shall protect and upgrade citizen's rights to quality education at all levels, guaranteeing that all citizens have equal opportunity to earn a living (Article 66). The state shall adopt an education program "according to the principle of modern pedagogy including technology and foreign languages," as well as the state controls public and private schools and classrooms at all levels (Article 67). Koh Rong - The Biggest of the Islands

Koh Rong is the biggest island off the coast of Sihanoukville within the Gulf of Thailand that stretches from southeast to north-west, roughly elongate form and it encompasses an area of 78 square km.
