Cambodia’s premier sea-coast resort Sihanoukville is currently approachable by air at the Sihanoukville International airport. The airport was closed for renovations and was used primarily for charter flights and as a heliport.

The airport is found 17 km east of Sihanoukville city and currently operates 3 flights per week to Siem Reap. The airport authority has fresh plans to increase the runway to accommodate heavier aircraft and to continue the upgrade of the terminal building to offer more services as tourism in the region continues to flourish.
